Affiliate Researchers
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Interested parties can contribute to the ScienceCampus EEGA as Affiliate Researchers. They are actively involved in Research Area events (workshops, discussions, etc.), may submit applications (for financial EEGA support, e.g. for panels at internationals conferences) through the Research Area Coordinators or submit event proposal to the EEGA Coordination. Furthermore, they maintain contact with Research Area Coordinators and supervise EEGA Fellows. They are invited to the EEGA General Assembly, the EEGA Annual Conference and EEGA Colloquia, and are welcome to join public EEGA events as guests or participants.
Affiliate Researchers receive regular e-mail updates about the ScienceCampus (e.g. event notes, EEGA publications). Once a year, they receive news about the funding catalogue and corresponding measures, formal application requirements, the strategic development of the Campus, as well as the EEGA annual report. Regular e-mail updates are also available by subscription to the EEGA newsletter.
Affiliate Researchers can participate only as long as they are employed by an EEGA partner institution or have been approved by the spokespersons of the Board of Director after an additional informal application. Affiliate Researchers are named on the EEGA website.
How to become an Affiliate Researcher:
Three ways lead to becoming an Affiliate Researcher:
- They have contributed to the EEGA funding application, or
- are appointed by the Research Area Coordinators through the Steering Committee, or
- submit a formal letter of intent (see below); the spokespersons of the Board of Directors than examine the application.
See here for the Letter of Intent for contributing to EEGA in English and in German.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
