Panel discussion in Berlin: The Baltic States as a Political Subject

Gemma Pörzgen, member of EEGA’s Media Advisory Board, will be moderating a panel discussion on “The Baltic States as a Political Subject. The New Role of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania” on 25 October 2023 in Berlin.

Since the expansion of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine in 2022 at the latest, the Baltic states have also increasingly become the focus of foreign and security policy interest in Europe. The political weight of the governments in Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius has increased significantly. The panel discussion will focus on the assessment of the security policy situation from the perspective of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and the Baltic states‘ view of the future of Europe.
