New Publication: EEGA Textbook „Globalizing Eastern Europe“
As one of the main EEGA activities in the first funding phase, an editorial board has started working on the text book project »Globalizing Eastern Europe: Politics, Culture and Economics from the 18th to the 21st Century « in November 2019.
The volume reconceptualizes Eastern Europe as an integral component of global history and exchange, elucidating the ways in which actors from the region have contributed to the formation of the “global” and, conversely, how global dynamics have informed and transformed the region itself. Drawing on contributions from scholars across multiple disciplines, it examines longue durée patterns of interconnectedness alongside contemporary modalities of interaction.
The editorial board consists of Dr. Katja Castryck-Naumann, Dr. Gilad Ben-Nun, and Dr. Lena Dallywater.
We are delighted to announce that the textbook has finally been published.
